Description
The ISBS Coach Outreach Initiative is designed to strengthen relationships between sports biomechanics researchers and coaches by creating opportunities for meaningful interaction, knowledge exchange, and collaboration. The initiative directly supports the mission of ISBS by fostering dialogue between researchers, practitioners, and educators, helping to bridge the gap between scientific research and coaching practice, and facilitating the dissemination of biomechanics knowledge within sport.
Coaches will gain access to leading sports biomechanics experts, exposure to the latest research developments, and opportunities to explore collaborative projects that can enhance athlete performance and coaching practice. At the same time, researchers will gain valuable insights into the practical challenges and needs of coaches, helping to ensure that future research remains relevant and impactful.
By bringing scientists and coaches together, the initiative aims to create a more connected and collaborative sports ecosystem where research informs practice and practice inspires research.
