Fellow of International Society of Biomechanics in Sports (FISBS)

Reserved for individuals who have made outstanding contributions in biomechanics related to sports over a period of years.

Award Criteria:
  • Applicant must be a full member of ISBS for at least five consecutive years at the time of that year's annual conference.
  • Applicant must have presented at least one paper in an oral session at two ISBS conferences.
  • Applicant must have published at least five Sports Biomechanics papers in English peer-reviewed scientific journals.
  • Applicant must have served ISBS in a recognized role as per page 13 of the Policy Manual for The Vice President of Awards of ISBS.
  • Applicant must be nominated by an executive member, board director or fellow if ISBS.
  • The applicant must attend the closing banquet of that year’s annual conference.
